This special Saltwater Dreaming collaboration has been done with Steve Bekue from Bundjalung Dreaming specialising in water wear that reflects that bond: clothing designed for the water, shaped by our culture, and inspired by the rhythm of the tides.

The Artist's Story
This artwork represents the deep saltwater connection held by saltwater people a relationship built on culture, healing, protection, and the spiritual knowledge carried through the ocean.
Flowing Songlines travel across the piece, guiding movement and representing the unseen pathways laid down by Ancestors. These lines remind us that Country is living, listening, and always teaching. The circular and layered patterns reflect the healing energy of the water the way the tides cleanse us, the currents reset us, and the saltwater holds a deep spiritual power for our people.
